Guidelines on the application of new health claims for food in Singapore

The Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) of Singapore has issued guidelines on the application of health claims for foods intended for sale in Singapore. This comes after the extensive review of the rules governing the use of health claims for food in Singapore.
The Guidelines are developed by the AVA’s Advisory Committee on Evaluation of Health Claims and based on Codex's recommendations on the scientific basis for health claim.
